Brendan Rogers and Frank Lampard Snr at Watford
Watford have appointed Chelsea reserve team coach, Brendan Rodgers as first team manager and Frank Lampard Snr as football consultant at the club.
Rodgers will take charge of first team affairs following Tuesday evening's fixture at Bristol City.
The Northern Irishman began his coaching career at a Reading in 1995 before becoming the Club's Academy Director in 2003.
He then joined Chelsea as Youth Team Coach in 2004, later taking charge of the Blues' reserve team in the summer of 2006.
Lampard, father of Chelsea's Frank lampard, and former England international, will work as a close advisor and mentor to Rodgers.
The pair forged a close working relationship whilst working as colleagues at Chelsea.
Previously, Lampard had worked as assistant to Harry Redknapp during their spell in charge at West Ham United.
