Gig in aid of Kings Langley man

Posted by news desk in Local News, 9th May 2008, 11:23am

The Horns pub (pictured), Watford, is to hold a concert to help raise money for a local man who is faced with losing his home.

Pete Nash, from Kings Langley, was diagnosed with an AVM (mass of abnormal blood vessels) in his brain in 2004.

The NHS refused to give Pete the life-saving operation to remove it, and the gig will help raise money to save Pete's house, after his life insurance refused to cover his mortgage and will go towards Pete's Fund, which helps other AVM sufferers.

On Tuesday, May 20 at 8pm, Underview and Stormrunner will be performing live at The Horns in Hempstead Road.

Tickets cost £3 and are available from The Horns.
