New art hits Watford Town Hall for September
Watford Town Hall’s Space2 gallery will be awash with new art pieces during the month of September.
The Space2 exhibitions will feature the work of two local arts groups, Hertfordshire Visual Arts Forum and Watford Visual Arts Forum, plus the painting by local artist Gus Grieco.
The Watford Area Arts Forum and the Hertfordshire Arts Visual Forum will be will be displaying a range of works previewing their forthcoming Open Studios event at the Space2 gallery in Watford Museum from Thursday 2 September to Saturday 2 October.
Local artist Gus Gireco will be displaying a selection of his work at the Space2 gallery in the Customer Service Centre, Town Hall from Thursday 2 September to Friday 1 October.
Gireco was a 13-year-old when he became seriously ill and as a result was paralysed from the neck down. He has been painting with his mouth for approximately fifteen years and works with acrylics, watercolour, pastels, pencil and ink. His work includes still lives, landscapes, abstracts and portraits.
