Local area forum in Abbots Langley

There will be a local area forum on Tuesday June 17 at 7.30pm at which locals can voice their views and raise any issues they may have.

The forum will cover Abbots Langley, Bedmond and Primrose Hill, Langleybury and Leavesden.

The meeting will be held at the Manor House Sports & Social Centre, Gallows Hill Lane, Abbots Langley, Herts

The itinerary will run as follows:

1. INTRODUCTION

2. LOCAL COMMUNITY POLICING REPORT
To receive a report from the Police and to have an opportunity to discuss local crime issues.

3. RECYCLING AND WASTE ISSUES
To receive a report on recycling and waste issues.

4. WOODSIDE LEISURE CENTRE
To receive an update on the new facilities at the Woodside Leisure Centre

5. LOCAL AREA FORUM GRANT
The Forum is asked to make suggestions for the use of the grant.

6. LOCAL AREA ISSUES
Your chance to raise topical issues.

7. DATE AND PLACE OF NEXT MEETING
Monday 10 November at Bedmond Village Hall

Councillors in attendence will be: Sue Bartrick, Matthew Bedford, Sara Bedford, Stephen Giles-Medhurst, Paul Goggins (chairman), Richard Laval, David Major, Joy Mann, Keith Peutherer, Kate Turner and Chris Whately-Smith.

Your Parish and County Councillors have also been invited to attend.
