Panto auditions at Palace
Auditions will soon take place for the Watford Palace Theatre (pictured) Christmas production Dick Whittington and his Cat, and the theatre is after enthusiastic children aged between 8-years and 14-years, to play cockney Londoners, mysterious creatures and revolting rats.
Auditions will be held at the theatre on Saturday, September 6, and will run throughout the day.
Those wanting to audition are required to make an appointment first so that they can be assigned a group and time prior to the day, people will not be considered if they turn up without an appointment.
Each audition will last 30 minutes and audition groups will be made up of eight to ten young people.
Rehearsals for the pantomime will begin on November 3, and the young chorus will be required most evenings during the week, for 3 weeks, and then the performances run until the 3rd of January, with 2 teams performing alternately.
